History of the company begins even before, in 1975 when a Hawai manufacturing unit was set up in the Industrial estate at Thodupuzha in the district of Idukki, Kerala state, India. The unit was later converted into a private limited company in1993-The Lunar Rubbers private Limited. In 1982, Lunar Rubbers was initially registered as a small scale industry.
